I appreciate your bringing Robert Cringeley's "inside job" post to my attention.

Earlier this week I had a quick snippet on my blog, below, which points to a CNN Video about Google's efforts to retain and attract top talent. I believe it is crticial, as you said, for Google to continue to attract top talent as frustrated Googlers leave and go into start-up mode. Fortunately for Google, they are one of a few companies in such a position.

I have 2 words for u: Green Screen! Why do people who make videos shoot themselves in front of junky backgrounds?!?!?!? Serious Magic puts out a great product, complete with green screen. Check it out!

Coco, great feedback. I agree with every one of your critiques 100%. I have a good condenser microphone arriving tomorrow so NO MORE headset after that and the audio should be dramatically improved. I enjoyed the CNN video on your blog. It's nice to see the place once in a while and not just read about it. I think another of Google's recruiting challenges will be finding a way to adjust their hiring model so that they're not so....Googley. Over time what they're doing now (their insane interview proces, testing, criteria won't work anymore) and they'll need to be as innovative, if not more so, to stay ahead of the pack.

These schools were introduced into the Republic of Ireland in 1966 by an initiative by Patrick Hillery, Minister for Education, to give a broader range of education compared to that of the vocational school system which was then the only system of schools completely controlled by the state vicodin . Until this time education in Ireland was largely dominated by religious persuasion, and in particular the voluntary secondary school system was a particular realisation of this. The comprehensive school system is still relatively small and to an extent has been superseded by the community school concept. The Irish word for a comprehensive school is a 'scoil chuimsitheach.'

In Ireland comprehensive schools were an earlier model of State schools introduced in the late 1960s and largely replaced by the secular community model of the 1970s. The comprehensive model generally incorporated older schools which were under Roman Catholic or Protestant ownership lexapro , and the various denominations continue to manage the school as patrons or trustees. The State owns the school property, but it is vested in the trustees in perpetuity. The model was adopted to make State schools more acceptable to a largely conservative society of the time. The last proposed comprehensive school in Ireland was Gonzaga College SJ in Dublin[buy propecia]. However late in the negotiations the Department of Education declined to extend this model to the Society of Jesus and the proposal was dropped.
